Uh... Micah. The brainwashed don't generally know their brainwashed. You're a strong case for that.

Oldguy, you represent a religion that thrives on violent language. Have you also consumed the body of Christ and drank his blood?

The problem is they do not realize they have been brainwashed. It is completely normal to them to believe in a version of God that killed himself-son to be able to forgive us
of our "sins". They do not understand how morbid all of that is.

Why would an all powerful God need BLOOD , a human sacrifice, to forgive? Why not forgiving for the sake of it?
The history is full of ancient civilizations that would sacrifice animals thinking that their blood would appease their God.
All of this is extremely barbaric and primitive.
Only a brainwashed person would believe in such a tripe, however, as I said before they fail to see how sick it is because of years of indoctrination.
It is all very sad.

The term "brainwash" automatically raises negative nuances in the person that reads it. It also infers that the writer bears some sort of hostility towards the information used at the basis of the issue. Just to give you the benefit of the doubt, I will take neither stereotype and answer your question with a resounding, "YES". They are in the process of being "brainwashed". Consider the alternative; becoming dirty with the sin of the world. Children's brains are becoming dirty because of all the trash they see on TV, because of all the rot they hear from the music industry (don't get me wrong, there is a lot of good out there, too), and by all the violent games we as parents allow their fat little thumbs to manipulate with PSP and DS,etc. The only hope for their future is to brainwash them in the blood of our saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. My parents did me the favor of brainwashing me, and I am returning the favor by brainwashing my children. You call it brainwashing, other call it indoctrination, still others call it by other terms, but the long and short of it is this, If you love your children, you as a parent will do your best for their futures. I pray that no parent would do any less.

Method of Brainwashing: I send my children to a private school run by my church (you can find out what church that is in my profile). We pray together as a family every morning, and we have family worship EVERY evening. We attend Sabbath School and Church service EVERY Saturday. We memorize passages of scripture together as a family. At the moment, we are memorizing Rev. 14:6-12, the Three Angels Messages passage. My wife and I also bring the name of Jesus Christ into ALL our decisions and conversations with our children. We pray that our brainwashing is thorough enough that when they are tempted, now and in the future, that their knee-jerk reaction will be to fall to their knees and ask Jesus for protection, power, love, support, strength, courage, or whatever the situation calls for.

It's kind of hard to avoid being brainwashed by something these days. Turn on the TV.

NO.. thankfully I "figured it out" before mindlessly passing some else's old stories along to them as fact. I hope to give them a foundation that allows them to see all things fairly and clearly, while also allow others to see what they see and believe what they choose to believe.

Government controlled media, public education, or organized religion? It depends on your definition of blood of the lamb. But no to all three.
