Does the Christian Bible describe it? i know it mentions it
Do other religions describe heaven?
Or is it just a great, big mystery?
Becuz the Bible talks an awful lot about hell!!!

Heaven means knowledge of the higher dimensions which frees one from the apparent reality of the external world.

humans are not meant to go to heaven so its not important to know. revelation does say that those going there would rule as kings and priests. rev 5:10. however gods purpose for humans was to live on the earth. if adam hadn't sinned he would still live here with all his children in perfection. why would we want or need to go to heaven? what god purposes he will do. you'll just have to wait. honestly though isn't it better to think of living forever on earth without death pain and sickness, then to try and imagine floating on a cloud playing a harp? i find it very interesting how few comments this has gotten. its like everyone wants to go to heaven but they have no idea why or what they'll be doing.

There is a description that the Apostle John gives in Revelation 4. Also, he describes Jesus on the throne in Revelation 1.
Also, read "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper. You can get it at any Christian Book store. It is an awesome book written by a pastor who died in a car accident, and was dead for 90 minutes before he came back. He gives a very vivid description of Heaven.

Its no mystery but it ain't in the bible. heaven is a waitress at hooters and she gets better the more i drink. hell is what heaven looks like in the morning.

That is something you will have to find out on your own. I think if we all knew what heaven was like, we would not be here right now.
