Depends on whom you ask. For Christians, this is the closest thing to hell we'll ever see. For non-believers, this is the closest thing to heaven they'll ever see.

Well, for a start, I get some contentment out of the fact that I don't depend on a being whose existence we have no proof of to give me hope. I hope to do well in my A levels. I hope to get a job doing something I love. I hope I will fall in love with someone who also falls in love with me. I hope I will have a family. I hope that when I die, I can feel that even if it's the end, I have lived a full and accomplished life. I don't see that I need anything else.

Very, I live life day by day, instead of doing something for the afterlife. My good actions are not guided by anyone but me, that's right, me. No heaven or hell, I just like doing good actions, it feels good.

Knowing how fragile life is I can really look forward to it, my kids, grand kinds, hope for the better of humanity. Those are just some of the hopes one can have in a lifetime without a god.

"My life is terrific, wonderful, and super fantastic without believing in any god."

It's kind of interesting how in one breath, a God rejector says what a great life they have without God but then accuse God of allowing so much pain and suffering in the world. It seems to me that they don't know anything pain and suffering. And if they were really concerned about others, they would give of their own terrific, wonderful and super fantastic life to those others who are in pain and suffering.

if you are talking about the christian concept of god, then I do not believe in that, and yet my life has much hope. I have the hope of being able to do good in this incarnation on earth, and in many other ifetimes to come before I reach enlightenment

very hopeful. You can hope life tomorrow is going to be better than life today. It's much more hopeful than hoping that life is only going to be better after you died.

When you don't believe in god, you know have the power to control what happens in your life, not some supernatural being with a bad temper.

I have a great life. I don't understand why believing in some make-believe creature would make my life better.

Extremely, since I know that I'm doing all that I can to enjoy my life, not preparing for some 'next' life by not doing anything at all fun.
