I have 3 kids, and I had my first at 19, way too young, my second at 21, still too young and my third at 26, a great age I think. Make sure your in a good relationship, hopefully married, and then spend a few years together and get your finances in order, kids cost a lot of money, and then have kids and enjoy them when you do, they grow so fast!!

A good age is when your out of college have a good paying job and can afford to take care of them finacially and emotionally. I had my first child at 21 my second at 34. And to the one that said to have you kid before 30 grow up. More and more ppl are waiting to have children later in life and there is not a damn thing a 20 something can do w their child that I can not.

As long as you are of age and want a child for the right reasons and have a good healthy relationship with your spouse then I think that you can have kids whenever you want. If you waited until you had enough money you'd never have kids. Unless you are rich, and usually rich people are too busy for kids.

when your married/in a lasting relationship, have created a stable home for you and spouse/partner, are able to pay all your bills without "hand outs" and have a little extra for savings/baby expenses
and when you feel you are emotionally prepared to give all of your time/love/effort into your children and family and work, and give up going out on a regular basis and generally have grown up.
