Or someone you know? What do you/they think? Would you recommend it?

if your hair is bonde the laser will not work on the hair ... you will need many treatments to remove the unwanted hair and laser hair removal will never permanently takke ALL the hair away but it is sufficient in taking most of it. It is a good investment if your hair is a darker colour and keep in mind each time the pulse of light hits the skin to remove the patch of hair it will feel like a rubber band snapping on your skin(so to speak)

whatever you do... find a place that has a doctor or a medical director on staff

i know someone who had it. if your young, i dont recomend it because, your still growing and ur hormones are active. so if u get laser, the hair will still grow back! its painful, expensive, and time consuming. if u still want to do it, then make sure u find a good place. some places have good deals and packages depending on how many areas u want to laser. yes usually if they laser a spot that doesnt have hair or has very light hair & does not need to be lasered, then dark hair will start growing there! it take a looong time for the hair to actually stop growing, im talkin a year or more.
