Say all the words from your heart, how you wanna to be with her forever and stuff. That will do then pop the question.

Will you be my future ex-wife?
Okay--that was only a joke.
Just "speak" from the heart. There is no "best" sentence to say. Find a poem to recite if you are having trouble coming up with something.
Or don't say anything at all, and write it out in rose petals or something along those lines...

I'll give you two sentences. 'I love you. Will you marry me?' That's short, simple, and says it all ... and it must 'work' because that's the same words my husband said when he 'proposed' ... I was dirty from cleaning all day, and up to my elbows in dishwater ... and that was the MOST ROMANTIC proposal EVER ... because if he could say those words then, he'd feel them anytime, and THAT is what makes our marriage as good as it is. We are together 'forever and beyond.'

Trust me we don't care. Something along the lines of will you marry me? will be just fine. If you really wanna go that extra mile, which I thnk is very sweet, just tell her how you feel about her before you propose. We love that stuff, and your girlfriend will too.

you should take her out to dinner and after then walk along the beach or something, and then you should say " i have something to ask you." Get down on ur knee and say "i love you (then say everything you love about her) and i want to spend the rest of my life with you." i know that saying has been used a lot, but it's really sweet! GOOD LUCK!! and tell me if my answer to your question works. :)

You should say; " Darling, I have just come into a vast amount of riches and want to spend it all on you and lavish you with gifts. Come away with me and live as my wife in my fabulous condo on the private island that I now own."
That would work for me.. only if it was true though..

Keep it simple - Will you marry me? works just fine for most of us.
Sometimes timing and location is even more important. My girlfriend was sitting poolside in Cancun with her parents and a few friends (which was a perfect setting for them). The problem is that when he knelt down and asked, she was eating chips w guacamole dip and wasn't really paying attention. When she responded "Are you serious?", she spit chips & dip all over him.

Take a deep breath, calm yourself and speak from the heart.
It is ok to maybe stumble on your words, you are only human.
What you say and how sincere you are will be a memory for her for the rest of your life.
I hope she says yes.
