Since most illegal aliens are not criminals and only want a better life, we should probably help them out. Personally, I have a guest bedroom in my house that usually goes unused. Should I leave the window to that room unlocked so illegal aliens and sneak in and have a cozy place to sleep for the night? They're not criminals, so I won't have to worry about them stealing anything... right?

I assume that you are kidding, but it actually used to be common to have a guest bedroom with a separate, unlocked, entrance, so that travelers could stop for one night without disturbing the owners.

i leave my windows unlocked and no one comes in at night and i also sometimes accidentally leave my car unlocked and it hasnt been stolen nor anything taken... i have left it locked and had someone break in and take out my $1000 radio system ! my grandmother leaves her whole house unlocked even when shes not there during the day and hasnt had a problem! but to be truthful its not only illegals you have to worry about its americans too.
