Yes, they can. In fact there is a Humvee that has been retrofitted to run on bio fuels.

Yep! Hummvees (or the original H-1) are powered by GM diesel engines that would be fine candidates for veg oil.

one very big problem. if the hum-vee s were leading the attack, the enemy would thing it was being attacked by burger king or Wendy's

yes they can but i think the horsepower would suffer... just like any other hybrid. biofuel etc vehicles
