Here is what you need to do if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Lose weight) and you will have more energry.

If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads) in one and protein (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have any or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross country skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension) (YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. So your body doesnt go into starvation mode, YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF.

If you stick with this you will have a great body. also drink a least 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonalds, Wendys, etc because there is nothing good for you on the menus - even the salads are bad (bacon bits, cheese, dressing, etc)

Good Luck :)

And you don't have to be on a diet either because diets are just as unhealthy as overeating.

Keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat!

Now since you are working out and boxing what you need to focus on is taking in a lot of protein, whole wheat based carbs--but not too many. and not too much fat.

Now an easy way to do this is, no fast food, no junk food, no soda (not even diet). Lots of eggs, lean meat--turkey, roast or baked chicken, treat yourself to steak or broiled hamburg once in a while. Whole wheat bread, lots of fresh fruit and vegggies.

Now if once a week or so you want an ice cream or candy bar, go for it. If you deny yourself all the time it will make you give up easier. If you want a snack after 8--popcorn!

Why do I know this stuff--I went from 240 to 120 by myself without weight watchers or any of that kind of crap!

When nobody is watching try doing pelvic gyrations. If you take a moment to observe it you will see that it is the mid section of our body that gets the least bit of exercise and that is probably why the signs of weight gain are mostly seen there. It is the same reason why we find it very difficult to lose weight in that section. So the best thing that you can do is consciously try to give that part a little bit of exercise. Stomach crunches might be too strenuous an exercise to start off with but gyrations are relatively mild. Pelvic gyrations make you thrust your midsection towards all directions and this is the best way of tightening every muscle in that mid section and that is of course what weight loss is all about.

You are doing a lot of exercises that burn calories from the foods you eat. You also need to put in there some cardio that doesn't rely on bursts of energy. Riding a stationary bike or using an elliptical will help get your body to burn fat calories instead. You need to do it for at least 20 minutes but 30 or more is better.

I was like you and you need help to manage your urges not what you consume. It is between your ears. Do not take this badly I went thru it too!
