Puppies can go outside, in a safe environment (one that is closed off from other animals) as early as you'd like. Puppies should not go into common areas where other dogs go until they're old enough to be vaccinated against diseases those other dogs may be carrying.

That depends. If you have a mother dog with a litter of puppies, they can start to go outside as soon as they are mobile, as long as you have a fenced yard where no stray dogs wander in and out. In fact, it's the very best way to get their housebreaking started. When I bred my Leonbergers (show dogs, all health checks done, semen imported from England, puppies crate trained and started on housebreaking when they went to their new homes), my puppies would scratch on the door to go out at 5 weeks old. Once the puppies are at this point, there's no reason they can't go outside, in your fenced yard. You don't want to take them where they can be exposed to diseases they are not yet vaccinated for. And carrying them isn't necessarily a good idea either, if you're talking about an enclosed space with lots of other dogs, since some diseases, like kennel cough, are airborne.

Puppies can go outside the earliest 5 days after their 3rd vaccination, which is usually finished by 16 weeks. Your puppy can go out a little before 17 weeks old. If you want to be on the safe side, have your puppy outside by 19 weeks, or 2 weeks after their 3rd vaccination. This will prevent your puppy from getting any diseases.
Hope I could help! :)

If you have an enclosed garden or yard you can start taking the puppy outside either from 4 weeks if you bred them or as soon as you get it. Never let a puppy walk on the ground where other dogs could have walked until all it's vaccinations are completed. If you haven't a garden or yard it's best to use a litter tray or pads and leave full house-training till it's safe to let them mix with other dogs.

hi,
im mid-jabs with my mastiff pup so have it from the vets mouth hot off the press!! No really, its not such an age thing when your your pup can socialise with other dogs its 4 weeks after its second jab (according to vet), we didnt get our pup till she was 11 weeks old and she has her second jab on wednesday, we then have to wait 4 weeks following that before we can take her to puppy classes/parks/beaches etc.
We have taken her to friends houses where there is not a dog but she wont meet any other dogs just yet, better to be safe than sorry!
Only downside is she is getting a bit big to carry round now...more camel than puppy lol!
Good luck with puppy x

Puppies can usually go out when they have had all their injections from the vet . And that's usually between 12 weeks and 14 weeks . If you bring a puppy out without having had it's injections there is a good chance it will pick up Pavro and die because it is too young to fight it .

Outside ...or outside of their home?
They can go into their yard after a few weeks.
Outside like to parks, petsmart, etc not until they have finished ALL of their puppy vaccinations.
the reason being is that not all people are responsible enough to have their pets vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, intestinal parasite coverage. If you are, then avoid these places with your pet until your pet has built up a bit of an immunune system

Until they have had all of the appropriate innoculations, normally they start at around 8 weeks and could take anything up until your puppy is 12weeks old. You can take your dog breifly outside but you must not put them on the ground or expose them to any dogs that you do not no the medical history of
Hope this helps

If you mean a litter of puppies you have bred then they can go out from about 4 weeks old as long as they are all fit and healthy and the weather is OK.
Our litters of puppies have loved running around the garden, rolling in the grass and digging up my flower beds, lol.
If you mean when can a puppy go out in public, you have to wait until it has had all its innoculations.

Its safe for them to go outside about a week or so after the last injection. BUT you can let them have a run around in a safe area (like your garden) where no other dogs can get to before this, it is also said to be safe to take a young pup to the beach, where the sea has washed the sand, as it will be 'clean' x
