I shudder to think what this world would be like without the education of our God! There is less and less religious upbringing in our world today, and what has happened?! Shootings in schools on the uprise; child molestors and abusers run around free destroying the lives of our children; video games allowing our children to seek and murder others; it goes on and on. Don't tell me you don't see it. And you would rather have them taught what?

well, first off, get an education yourself, it help if you can use english properly, specially since there is a spell check function. next off, i think you hit a sore point with the christians on here, their answers are typical of non self thinking individuals. i mean cmon, no ones hiding the fact that the universe sprang into existence, billions of years ago, that we evolved from primates is provable, easily now that we have decoded the human genome. And to those that think science is clutterin the planet, let me ask this, when was the last time you heard a preacher say , we need to live like animals so we dont ruin this world.

As for a way to educate those who are indoctrinated to a religion, well , most children who are given a choice, usually choose to go the route of maybe believer, or plain out atheism, depending on how nuts the parents are with "god".
I think this is because these kids are tired of having to go to church, and listen to some idiot spout his version of the bible at them.

And by the way science isnt destroying the planet, business is. and many of the Business leaders of america claim some religious beliefs, like christianity.

First, what precisely makes the Bible a "fairy tale e book"? the actuality which you do not have self assurance it rather is actual? Then background books may well be "fairy tale books" to absolutely everyone who did no longer choose to have self assurance them. 2nd, no present day discovery has yet disproved the historic narrative interior the Bible. there is not any reason that a individual won't be able to learn technology, make "present day" discovers, and nonetheless have self assurance in God. One won't be able to tutor that God *would not* exist, so atheists have *faith* that He would not. So why isn't atheism a faith? this is in keeping with man or woman ideals and not actuality. 0.33, evolution has been disproved somewhat some diverse techniques. the only motives it continues to be taught in the present day are a million) human beings do no longer choose to have self assurance in God, so evolution *has* to be actual (::sarcasm::), and a pair of) it is so ingrained interior the custom that it might take an overhaul of our government and academic equipment to get it out. finally, what number atheists tell their infants genuine lies by way of telling their young infants with regard to the easter bunny, tooth fairy, santa claus, and the social risk-free practices equipment? i'm never going to strengthen my young infants on those lies.

I am one of those "dumb fools"! :) Our public school education is horribly slack when it comes to educating our children in the English, Math, History, and Science that are constantly changing. Japan alone educates their children for at least 9 hours a day of gruesome studies! Hmmmm! Maybe that is why they are so advanced in the creation of our electronic needs. My state alone ranked #46 of the 50 US states in SAT scores this last year. My county came in dead last. I do not want my children to become a failed statistic. Children that are given an education with the foundation of a creator, a purpose for everything about them, and an adult that is capable of tayloring to each individual child's education needs, thrive so much better. The suicide rates alone are proof to that. They are now being welcomed into our states top colleges and a whole new market is developing around the needs of these poor dumb children. Keep your children in public schools and it will allow us more opportunities! May God bless you.

By the way, the bible was written a long time ago yes, however, it is far from outdated. It is life to those who chose to believe it. Education? Interesting that you would say that looking at the way you put your question together- please do not equate faith with lack of education. Knowledge and wisdom are 2 entirely different things.

Children should be educated to know the difference between belief and science, and why one can be taken on faith but that the other relies on facts.

Children should be educated to know what morality is, but the should also understand the difference between living a moral live and forcing that morality on others through laws.

so, does that mean you want to give them the books that tell them how easy it is for kids to build a ship?

What is your question? It doesnt make any sense what you wrote!

I hope the english & grammar books are not the ones you used!

Apparently you are casting judgement on something that you never even bothered to pick up and read for yourself. You will find that the Bible is the only self evidencing book on the face of the planet. Every statement in there was confirmed hundreds of years later by another writer. Impossible even for todays "knowledgeable" people.
