People who are against abortions can resume to never make one themselfs, but why do they make such a big case on what other women are doing? I think it's wrong too but forbitting it is even more wrong
Think about this situation: asume abortions are allowed only when rape or medical issues. You got raped, but you could not prove it and they didn't leyt you do an abortion when you found out you're pregnant with the guy who raped you. What then?

I'll see you in heaven: it's a completely different story. An abortion does not affect anybody else than the parents and the child. A gun can be used to kill you, the guy who is against them

fatima good for you, but other women could never live with that, having the child of the man who hurt them the most.

Thom, you make a child, carry ot 9 months and give him to adoption. I sure would not!
Girls who use abortion as a birth control indeed are very wrong, destroying their bodies and .... killing what is suposed to become a human being.

alleninthehills a doctor can see you just had sex, but he can't see if it was a rape or just ... sex. I already said, I don't agree abortions, never had one and hopefully never will (if you ask me now I never would, but who knows how I will think and what will happen 10 years from now).
If you forbit abortions, they will still happen, but they will threateh the mother's life a lot more. I can tell you a lot about it, it happened in Romania (that's where I live) before 1989.

i am not against abortions.
it is a very personal decision that the mother has to make, and i've known people who have had abortions.
it is never an easy decision to make, even without maniacs screaming at you as you cross the street.
it would be great if every baby were wanted, and planned, but that's not life.
you have to make your own decision, and you have to live with it!
no amount of laws, or screaming people can impact how hard the decisions is.

Did you know that the percentage of abortions due to rape is only about 2%? 4,000 abortions are done alone in America- and the majority are done for "not wanting a child". This has been proven. If a woman is rape, it is horrible, I am not negating that fact- however why should the baby be punished for the sin of the father. When a woman has an abortion, she is not just doing it to her body- granted there are side effects - many a matter of fact which can do damage to her body, and also emotions. What I am saying here , is that the baby's heart beats 3 weeks after conception- and 6 weeks lungs are starting to develop- and everything is there that will be but smaller. Undeveloped does not mean no life- because if it did- then a baby that has been born, would not have life either-because until that person is 18- no person is fully developed physically. So it should be ok to take the life of a born person until there 18 if people say life begins when they are fully developed or can take care of themselves. Of course, not it would be murder.
What ever happened to adoption? If it was not for adoption, I could have been aborted, and so could have my 2 children- we could not have our own kids either. Thank God for our birth moms, and yes, one of us was a child conceived out of rape.

The Christan belief is life is sacred, Along with A few other religious organizations. The biggest thing is that each abortion
that is done might be the Christ returning in A Mortal form.
that is what they are worried about! Abortion is A form of POPULATION CONTROL. That is in A smaller SCALE AS WAR IS POPULATION EXTERMINATION. In short periods
of time.Their is also The next Pandemic that is going to be A
WHOPPER! population control in the 10's Of or 100's of millions could lose their lives when the next super virus
matures and decides it wants to live. Look at the 1914tru 1917 pandemic did to the worlds population If I am not mistaken it took over 40,000,000 "40 million" lives between here and the European Continent. I think the states lost 1/4 of the population from this super virus.
Abortion Is some thing I can not control even though In the Christs teachings and other prophets that we are our brother and sisters keepers meaning To keep me right in spirit I have to stand Against it, with free will And A open thought process I am only able to express my views on the subject
not stop the practice.

I suspect that nobody likes abortions but some people feel that they are an unfortunate necessity.
But if you are against abortions - then why would it be alright to do it in the case of rape? The baby would still be a baby, won't it?
The bottom line, IMHO, is that nobody likes abortions so I believe we should all do what we can to educate people so they have safe, responsible sex, support women who get pregnant and don't want the baby by not making them feel like horrible people, and do everything we can to hook these women up with the thousands and thousands of people who want babies but can't have them themselves.
In the meantime I believe abortion should be legal but I believe the statistics could be reduced to a tiny fraction of what they are today - if people really cared about solving the problem.

I've had more than one and I am against them now for religious reasons. From the world view though, I'll argue that unless its a life threatening situation (which honesty...how many of them are?) then I believe that the mother should go through with the pregnancy and give the baby up for adoption. We can establish programs to provide medical care and/or temporary support during the pregnancy (9 mos) and post pregnacy for another say...6 if need be, the babies go up for immediate adoption, as newborns are always wanted by barren parents looking to adopt and the woman can go about with her life.
For the non-rape abortion, the reasons for not seeing the baby to term are usually self serving rather than selfless. So you endure some hardship for 9 mos...its a well learned lesson against getting pregnant again by 'accident'. You feel some sense of loss having carried the baby, then opt to keep it at birth instead. Regardless of what the mother may 'feel' that baby is from God and God will work out His purpose and plan for that child's life even if the mother didnt have the personal commitment to take responsibility herself.

Let's be honest. Abortion in the case of rape is the same a killing a child for his father's wrongdoing.
There is such a thing as adoption with a long list of would-be parents waiting for their baby.
Abortion will never change the fact that you were pregnant. After suffering the trauma of rape and becoming pregnant which is something that takes a lifetime or more to get over, with adoption at least the woman can live out the rest of her life without the murder of an innocent child to come to terms with too.

1. I have the external model- so its not entirely my issue.
2. I know how to use rubbers... they help.
3. Rape rarely produces a child- however in this case, I think abortion should be a perfectly acceptable option.
4. Abortion should not be used in place of birth control.
5. NO OUTSIDE ENTITY should be allowed to tell a person what they can and cannot put into their own bodies (that goes for drugs and instruments of suicide and other consenting people's genitalia as well).
6. Nobody ELSE'S god should influence another person if they do not want that kind of influence.

I am totally opposed to getting an abortion personally.
However, I am more opposed to telling other people what they can and can not do with their bodies.
Also, if abortion is only allowed in the case of rape (like some people want), I predict there will be a lot of innocent men in prison for "rape".
I'll see- If you are against abortion, are you also against war, capital punishment and eating meat? If not, how do you decide which life is sacred?

I am not against abortions. I think it should be legal.
However, I do not like that some people are too lazy to learn how to use birth control properly so they just get abortions. I know a girl who had three in a short period of time... Really, get on the pill and buy some condoms!

I am pro-choice. I think there are plenty of valid reasons to have an abortion. I do think they should take place earlier on in the pregnancy than they are currently allowed to, though, unless the baby is endangering the mother's life.
