However, with marijuana, I think the food intake sometimes associated with it kind of cancels it out.

Yes nicotine does increase your metabolism a little.
But Marijuana does just the opposite, it works like alcohol in a sense,
It cause the sensation of being hungry, and usually makes a person tired or sleepy.
It isn't any good for dieting.

Just remember, nicotine is what some animal traquilizers are made of. It may speed up your metabolism some, but could slow down your energy. It also may help concerning how much you eat for it will change the taste of what you are consuming.

I don't know about nicotine but marajuana causes you to eat more. Most marajuana uses say after smoking they go on an eating binge.
I recall some doctors made a diet pill by studying the effects of how marajuana makes people eat more.
