Which drug causes dilated pupils?

Question

i had a really worried parent come in to the store to buy a drug testing kit. She told me that her daughter had dilated pupils and refused to tell her what she was on. The best I could tell her was a stimulant like meth or cocaine or diet pills and a teacher who might be able to talk some sense into her. another co worker who also has some teens of her own gave her advice mom to mom on how to handle the situation. She said she'd come back for another test kit if this one fails.
I'm just curious. Which drug causes dilated pupils?
Also is there anywhere where I can find all the symptoms of abusive drugs in one place?
Wtih school starting I know there will be mroe parents like her coming into the store.

You were correct speed type drugs Exctasy meth, cocaine can all dilate pupils.... Opiates like Oxycontin, heroin, percocet all constrict pupils

Most amphetamines will cause pupil dilation. Barbituates cause constriction of the pupils. You would probably be able to contact a D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program officer at your local law enforcement office who could give you accurate info on drug abuse.

I know from personal experience that one cause is Ecstasy. My friends and I used to take it when we were in high school.. If you are curious about symptom of different types of drugs, go to a drug clinic or the library. Those places will have all the information you are looking for.

I know that acid (lsd) causes pupils to dilate. and I think opiates do too.

most drugs do the most common is marijuana but it can aslo be caused by non drug related stuff such as a concussion or soometimes of sickness'
