We have a 2000 Dodge and from what we are told the front main bearing in the transmission is going bad. I order the part but the guy who was suppose to do it for us has backed out. My husband thinks he can do but I don't find any infomation to help him out. Any info would be great.

you,ll need a really good repair manual on it if he starts in to it,those aren't to bad to do but he really needs a Haynes repair manual this way he,ll have all the pics and information on doing this he needs,he would really be better of letting a good repair shop do this, they will have the necessary tools to do it with,he may not have everything he needs to work with, good luck with it though he may need it.

type in "kellybluebook" and you'll go to their site to get an idea of what the value of the car concerned. It will ask you a number of questions as to what make, model, year, general overall condition, features, and mileage of the vehicle. Once you've answered all teh questions, it will give you a figure of it's value. If you intend on taking it to a dealer for trade, type in "kellydealerbluebook" or "dealerbluebook" and again enter the information needed and you'll get a real good idea of what you'll get when you trade it in. (even what they will ask for a vehicle they are selling)
