Imagine that you have a very slow driver in front of you (driving at 15 mph in a 30 mph zone) while driving on a one lane road. You are starting to get impatient and do not know what to do. Do something to take your mind off of the slow car, listen to the radio or look outside the window and beyond the road. You might actually see something interesting that you would have missed had you been flying by.

Remind yourself of two things:
1. studies have shown that people who drive slowly take very little additional time to reach their destination, if that. They usually spend less time moving and more time at traffic lights, so it evens out. On the freeway, the faster you drive the sooner you have to slow down, so you don't save much time.
2. studies have shown that people who drive slowly are more likely to survive if they are involved in an accident, all other things being equal.
