that would really depend on what he did that was inapproprate. I thik that you, being an employee have some obligation. mabey talk to a higher up nurse on the staff, tell her/him of the womans accusations and ask the proceedures for this. you have to tell the place you work for in case of a lawsuit or something. after you tell them, its out of your hands. but considering the complaint was made to you, an employee of the establishment, you should check into it by talking to a higher up about it.

They are no longer right in front of you, so the answer is moot.
You should ask them what the doctor did that made them feel uncomfortable. It might be a misunderstanding based on cultural differences. If it's something inappropriate, YOU should recognize that due to working in the profession.
What you are allowed to do? I don't know what city, state you're in so I cannot properly answer that part of your question. You'd have to call the medical society in your area and ask them.
There are several things you can suggest...
If the doctor made inappropriate sexual approach or something equially inappropriate, then you and/or the patient should call the medical society and the local police department.
If the doctor said something that's not a sexual approach, or equally inappropriate, either you can bring it up to the doctor on their behalf, or you can tell them it's ok to bring it up and tell the doctor why they are uncomfortable.
But FIRST you MUST ASK to make sure if it's something really inappropriate or if it's just a misunderstanding or a cultural difference.
I was in a situation once with a lovely young Mexican couple who didn't circumcise their male baby. I had to tell them how to keep him clean to prevent infections, and I KNOW they were highly embarassed. They might have been really uncomfortable and thought it was inappropriate, but I knew they had to be informed so they could take good care of their new boy.
On the other hand... the woman whose pediatrician started dating her and having sex with her secretly behind his wife's back should have been reported and censored by the Medical Society! Doctors are not supposed to become sexually involved with their patients or parents of pediatric patients.

If you work in a large institution I would send them up the line to the supervisor of that particular doctor. If you work in a small office and that doctor is not the head I would again send them to a supervisor. If it's a small office and they are the head person I would tell them to contact the state licensing board for medical doctors or the police.
Other than that I would stay out of it. You are not in a position to really do anything about it.

This is a serious matter - and you were placed in a pretty difficult situation.
The VERY best thing you can do is to speak with your hospital/clinic/group HR director about how to handle this properly - by appeasing your patient, without inviting a lawsuit by admitting fault. I would bet dollars to donuts there are procedures and such to handle just this kind of matter.
That way you'll be able to handle things like this in the future.

idk what it finally ends up being later on!!! yet while i became 18 i became injury at artwork and the Workman's comp. physician did a breast examination, I in basic terms had a pulled muscle in my neck. I allowed it to take place! LOL i did no longer understand what to assert, and that i became so taken aback that some thing like that would take place to me that I went right into a type of marvel! I never suggested it or suggested something approximately it and to in the present day 10 years later it has nonetheless no longer been suggested because of the fact I allowed it to take place! So became I victimized or no longer LOL I allowed it to take place!

Loaded question, inappropriately how?
Edit: Keep out of it. If she has a problem w doctor, there is a governing board she can complain to. You don't know what went on in there, she should not involve you with this.
