What lies?

And Joseph Smith was in the masons, but was never a Grand Master, because he was only a member for three years or so when he was killed.

Has anyone BEEN to hell yet, and is able to say conclusively that Mormons are there, and Joseph smit is there etc.? I do know that, if these anti-Mormons are Christian, then I want no part of Christainity. I'd rather be in hell with teh Mormons than in heaven with.......people.......like that.

One thing Joseph Smith did teach is tolerance of all religion. I think that's a wonderful thing to teach. Especially since I have friends of many faiths.

Amos 3:7 says that God will do nothing without first calling a prophet. So I think it's important to know that
1) There is a living prophet
or
2) God's truth is not here

The book of Revelation states that 2 prophets will be murdered in the holy land shortly before the second coming of The Lord Jesus Christ. So there would have to be living prophets sometime between now and then.

I believe in what Joseph Smith taught because The Holy Ghost has told me to. But I respect anyone's views.

Do Mormons burn in hell? I don't think there is really fire in hell to burn anyone.

Now why would a person be Mormon if they believed Joseph Smith lied? That would not make sense. That would be like being Muslim and believing Mohammad lied, or Christian and believing Peter or Paul lied. Why do you believe in something that you also think is a lie? Most of us aren't capable of being that illogical.

No one burns in hell unless God says they do in the Judgement. As far as what the Mormons believe about Joseph Smith, the only thing I know is they think he was a prophet. Well, there was a man named Joseph Smith, but he was a self professing Free Mason, a Past Grand Master in the Masonic Lodge. Many of the rites in the Masonic Lodge, he included in the rites in the Mormon Church. When asked about being a Free Mason, he didn't lie, he said he was.

Why would someone be a Mormon if they thought the words of their founder were lies?
I believe if a person is a good person they will to go "Heaven" whether they believe in Joseph Smith, Jesus, Moses or the big pink goblin from the planet zebulon. If you are good person, you will have peace in the afterlife.
That is my two cents worth.

No, we do not believe that Joseph Smith lies. Nor do we believe the lies that you think that he told.
No, we will not burn in hell because of Joseph Smith but some of us may burn because of our own actions.

If you think that I am going to burn in hell or If you would like to know more, in general, about what we believe, contact me. I am always grateful for the opportunity to discuss our faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ.

I certainly believe the truth's that Joseph Smith taught. I'm not aware of any lies. And no one burns in hell because of another person. We are all accountable for our own actions.
