Depends on what sort of traffic and the conditions.
80-90 is about average for me. But then again, in heavy rain it can go down to 40.

What has 60mph got to do with anything?
The speed limit on a dual carriageway is 70mph and always has been (except for a brief period during the oil crisis of the early 1970's) since the speed limit was introduced on December 22nd, 1965...

Some are 70mph but not all, watch signs. If your on a 30mph road and turn into another road where there is no sign it is still 30mph and so on.The bill for 173mph is 10 weeks in nick,so 100mph should get you about 6 weeks and a sore butt!

Depending on weather / traffic conditions I usually go around 80, I know thats 10 above the 70 limit, but well within MY capabilities. To those who are not sure of the limits. It has been 70mph on all dual carriageways for about 15 years unless posted otherwise .So read your highway code again Dickierulous.Biggest problem is white van man breaking limit for his van - 60 on dual carriageway

I can't think why you'd want to do 60 either, the limit is 70.
Shows what an expert YOU are.
