Is this falling in love think USUALLY and I dont mean ALWAYS but just usually a mutual feeling? I mean if a guy is falling for a girl, is it usually the case that she also is falling for him? There must be a vibe/chemistry before someone starts having the feelings right? Personal experiences really appreciated!!

Indeed a vibe/chemistry has to be there for SOMEONE to fall in love, however, one could be falling in love, while the other could be just in lust or just have genuine concern for the other. Then there is the possibility that one accepts their feelings while the other moves slowly towards them or refuse them all together. What ever the case may be for you, I wish you the best. falling in love has nothing to do with being a mutual thing. it is a solitary feeling, a gift from one to another and not dependent on another's feelings at all. many friendships end because one loves while the other does not.

my best friend loves me. i know this, he tells me this...we don't generally talk about it, although we don't dance around it when it does come up. we have been friends for over 20 yrs. but i do not love him like that and don't see it changing. he doesn't stay around waiting to see if i will fall for him, he is okay that i haven't. but the lack of romantic feeling being returned hasn't stopped him from loving me. don't get me wrong, i love him deeply and truly as a friend, i value the friendship we have - but i don't think of him in a romantic sense. so in my experience, no, if one is falling for the other, it does not mean that she is falling for him right back.

I wish it was that way. I am completely in love with my son's father. Unfortunately we were not dating when I got pregnate with my son. But it has now been almost 4 years I have come to know everything about him and I know that I love him. Though he says that he cares deeply for me he is not in love with me. Sad thing is though I have put my life on hold so that I would not upset the father son relationship. So some advice for you if it is you that loves him don't wait for him to love you in return cause you might just miss the guy of your dreams.
