I got my pitbull puppy when she was 5 months old - she was 35 lbs. She is a mutt - part pitbull, boxer and lab. She looks all pitbull. She was still growing until she was 1 1/2. She is almost 2 now and weighs 60 lbs. Her chest just kept getting wider. 60 lbs doesn't sound that big but she is rock solid
I would say yours will be 65-95 lbs

How big were the dogs in the first four generations of his pedigree? Disregard the biggest and the smallest, then average the numbers in between.

About pitbull weight ...

You will often see it expressed with two numbers. For instance, mine is 41/47 pounds. The bottom weight is the smallest he can be without sacrificing strength, and the top weight is the heaviest he can be without compromising endurance.

When I see someone post just one number (ie: "mine weights 50 pounds"), I begin to wonder how close they pay attention to their dog's conditioning?

Don't fret over your dog's weight, but become fanatic over his 'condition.' And don't forget ... its not only his physical qualities that you must condition, but also his mental and emotional.

Make him an 'ambassador' of the breed. Start with *Novice level obedienc training from a qualified instructor and work forward from there.

*Novice level obedience is: heel, come, sit, down, stand and stay, both on and off leash in areas of reasonable distractions, plus problem solving and basic manners for home, away, and while traveling.

If he is only twelve weeks old he is going to be a big boy. More than likely over fifty pounds if he is already 25, hard to tell how much though.
Do you have him on a large breed puppy food that is controlled growth so he doesnt grow to fast? This really helps prevent hip dysplacia and arthritis. Make sure it has glucosamine and chondrotin in it!
Did you see the mother and father-very good judgement of how he will turn out?

Anywhere from 50 - 100 pounds.

He may not get overly tall - they average about 26" or so but he will be as solid as a rock.

My Baby Blue is 3 years old and is about 63 pounds of solid muscle. Not an ounce of fat on him - but boy! is he a tank! One great big cuddly, lovey tank.

But what is more important - does yours sleep over the covers or under them?

it depends do you know how large his parents are if so than you should have a pretty good idea right there. pits vary in size. but if he is 25 now at only three months he seems like he is going to get kind of large when my pit was 3 months he was about the same size also and he is very tall now my family members call him horse (his names really lucky)
