Good question. We may see it addressed later in the week when NASCAR comes out with it's penalties and fines - which this week could prove extensive!

Guys, Kennseth was penalized for the reason you stated, pulling up along side of Stewart, which is a danger on pit road, if he would have knocked him into a pit member or another car, simply giving him a little hurry up l;ets go bump is not illegal, if it was, then there would be a lot of fineas and penalties, every day, now yes indeed Stewart has an attitude, but whoever said he was the worst, come on, Robby Gordon by far is the worst attitude on the track, don't omcpare him to steweart, and anyone who says he did not dump Raines, is full of ish.

I don't know the answer to that. He has continually got a free pass on things he should have been penalized for and NASCAR just lets it slide until like last year when drivers said if NASCAR wouldn't handle it then they would and NASCAR finally stepped up and started giving him penalties. Tony is an awesome driver, there is no denying that but I have never seen someone in more need of behavioral therapy. How many times have we seen him tear up not only other people's cars but his own as well.

I am a Tony Stewart fan, but I think he should have been penalized. He rammed the other car twice in the rear and then came along side of him and cut across his nose as to damage the right fender. Took away his areo!
That pit road is tight and he should have had some patience.
That kind of thing is how crew members get hurt.
We shall see tomorrow what Nascar will do if anything!

Really good question. Who knows, maybe the officials had temporary blindness (like temporary amnesia). They are going to figure out what to do with Carl, we will probably hear about it on Wednesday, maybe something will come out then.
Smoke is such a hothead. I understand he was pissed because Menard didn't pull all the way up in his pit, but let Zippy handle it, don't try and ram the guy!

Tony was on the track and Kurt was in the pits. Tony was just letting Paul "I have no talent, but my family has money" Menard know not to block him in his pit again.

Kensith got a pass-through penalty once in Daytona for basically doing the exact same thing but Tony was on the receiving end. Kensith pulled along side of him and rammed Tony's car leaving pit road. Defiantly inconsistency on NASCAR's part.

I do not thin that when Tony Stewart bumped into him it was mostly unintentional. If you noticed he was pulled along side in the high bank of the turn giving hand gestures to Paul and failed to maintain control of his car. The contact was extremely minor and no damage was really noted. I believe the commentators (Rusty Wallace) started spouting off on it before they really noticed what was going on.

ya know that's a really good question, maybe because they were under caution, which is BS Nascar really needs to follow the rules all for one and one for all that's not fair he's already on probation again I really don't know. but again good question!
