I had a similar situation at the last law firm I worked at. It was awful! She would make me cry on a weekly basis and there was nothing I could do about it. If she wasn't picking on me, she was picking on someone else. It was the favorite topic of conversation in the office b/c there was nothing any one of us could do about her erratic behavior. My advice to you is to leave as soon as possible. No job is worth the mental abuse you are getting from your boss. You can't change people, you can only change yourself. You can't change a particular situation, you can only take yourself out of it. I understand that you like the work you do, but you can work somewhere else and be so much happier. Is your job really worth you being miserable. If you do say something, you're most likely going to make things worse for yourself. No one likes the person who "rocks the boat". It's not fun being that person. If the office has put up with your boss's antics all this time, then it's cheaper and more likely that they will replace you rather than your boss. This may not be what you were expecting to hear, but I've been there and done that, and that's what I learned.

If you all hate her so much a combined front is needed. You back one another but do not have a spokesman. Demand a staff meeting. Try to exclude her from everything staff outings etc. Tell her nothing exclude her from any social chatter. if she sits next to you say in the staff canteen get up and walk away

I think Scouse is correct. There is strength in numbers, but you all have to stick together. Even if the person above her is her friend if you put up a united front, they you must be taken seriously. If still there is no joy, then you will have to take your complaint higher.

calling people priocks is unprofessional and if ur bosses cant see this then why continue to be harassed and belittled at your job. ur worth more than living in fear. if they dont do anythign start seeking new employment.

She is an abusive pig.

Stay long enough to find another job. She is not going to change.

Keep your friends close & your enimies closer! then when you find a weakness in her use it to your advantage, she sounds like a complete bit*h.
