Why would God wait until the Qu'ran, 4500 years or so to reveal a creation that was before man?
Wasn't these creatures taken from Jewish fables?
Second Targum of Esther?
Why would God copy a fable wouldn't he know this was a fable?

For those who are unaware of what the Targums are, the 2nd Targum of Esther, also known as the Targum Sheni - along with the other Targums, is a translation of the Hebrew Bible into Aramaic originally made at a very early date. Targums contain some embellishments and legends not supported by the Hebrew Bible and these legends, myths, embellishments and commentary are not considered divine revelation by any body of opinion and yet in a number of cases legends and myths from these sources appear in the Qur'an.

Perhaps the sudden mention of Jinn are related to the sudden importance of Mecca as a religious center.

I agree with Jacee.
Much of Christian theology adopted local religious, spiritual and even mythological customs and traditions. It would not surprise me that Islam also incorporated local traditions. After all, spiritually speaking this makes a lot of sense. The Qur'an basically dictates "God's Will" and if we are all in the presence of God then why would the Jinn and other things in the Qur'an/Islam be exclusive to Muslims. In other words, perhaps pagan traditions reflect the works of God and Satan/Jinn.

Of course the jinn were known before islam. In the old times, jinns had the power to possess people and one of the miracles of jesus pbuh was to undo this possession.
Read the bible.
Devils are creations of fire: they are jinns, not angels. Angels follow God's order.
I have read the bible.

Isn't this obvious?
Islam started up in a slightly different area as a way of uniting the warring desert tribes - and religion saved them from it - thats why you never see a Muslim killing another (lol - yeah, right - watch the news)
Djinn or Genies were incorporated in to Islam because they were a part of the mythology of that area - just the way Christians hijacked the pagan celebration and turned it in to Christmas.

King Soloman did control them.
Satan is a JINN so if you deny Jinns you deny the existance of satan.
Jinns have choice and they are shapeshifters who can come in many forms including reptilian ones.
Angels never have and never will have free will.

Dear,
The creation of Jin was earlier known to prophet. Below is the evident of Jin been known by prophet before prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah s.a.w. in Holy Koran (Qu''ran).
Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon) a.s. son of Isya, Ufix, Yu'ar, Salmun, Yauksaun, Umainizar, Raum, Hasrun, Baras, Ra'sun and son of prophet Ya'qub a.s. son of prophet Ishaq a.s. son of prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) a.s. the father of Islam that built Ka'aba in Mecca. Sulaiman a.s. is younger brother to prophet Daud (David) a.s. Prophet Sulaiman a.s. was King on Earth. Prophet Sulaiman a.s. was King and a Prophet of Al-Mighty God ALLAH SWT.
Al-mighty God taught prophet Sulaiman a.s. language of Bird to language of ants. Prophet Sulaiman a.s. having an army of Jin, men and birds. When his army march to a valley, prophet Sulaiman a.s. heard the ants asking all ants to be under ground to avoid being step by prophet sulaiman's army on march through the valley. Prophet Sulaiman a.s. praise Al-Mighty God for giving him the knowledge of communication and understand all language by Jins, creatures, insects and birds.
All prophets are in the Holy Koran. What ever you said is not true. There is no such thing as "Fable". There's no such thing as fallen angel. All in the Scriptures are true. Please bare in mind that the Holy Scripture Koran (Qu'ran) is not "WRITTEN" by "MEN".
The Scripture is Just like the Scripture Bible - Jews - Moses, Scripture -Daud (David). Scripture -Bible -Jesus (Language of Ibrani - Bible Matius, Bible Yuhanus, Bible Luqus, Bible Marqus and Bible Barnabas [denail by Church]).
All these Scriptures are from the Sky. These Scriptures are "NOT" written by "MEN". These are direct from Al-Mighty God ALLAH SWT.
Muslims belief in all prophets of Al-Mighty God ALLAH SWT.
