Does anyone know where I could go boar hunting the Southern California? I'm assuming there are ranches that offer this service but I'm looking for something not as expensive.
Is there a place I could go to and just publicly hunt the land without having to pay an outrageous amount? What would that entail?

For public land hunting contact BLM area offices. There is some boar hunting in So Cal but most in on ranches and there is a fee. I can get you some links to guide services depending on what your definition of expensive is, just email me. I'm taking my wife out this fall on her 1st hog hunt BTW.

catalina island has wild pig hunts. Most of the ranches in central california have hunts and also fort Hunter Liggett has public areas to hunt. Check with fish and game, they have a list of places that offer hunts too.
