If you fell that way then don't eat it. I wouldn't want your conscience to bother you. Truthfully.
But in the covenant created by Jesus Christ, of whom it was foretold, he made a New Covenant. And that's the covenant I am governed by, not the old one.
The new covenant says:
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. ( Colossians 2)

Pigs at the instant are not grimy animals. Pigs are animals that are many times stored in grimy situations. Wild boar is not any dirtier than farm animals or goats. you're incorrect approximately Hindus and Buddhists: Hindus do no longer consume cows, yet consume different meat (in the event that they could locate the money for it). Buddhists consume meat. Jews had a prohibition approximately eating beef, which became accompanied into Islam too. interior the previous they could have been precise - there are various illnesses that could bypass from pigs to people, alongside with tapeworm. that doesn't practice from now on. cutting-area farming has broken the cycle the place human waste (sh*t) finally ends up interior the pigs' food.

I'm a Christian and I don't eat pork or shell fish because they are "unclean", or not fit for human comsumption. I avoid all unhealthy food for health reasons, not because I'm under the "law". God created all eatable foods and declared which ones are fit to eat. Grace does not cure diseases from eating "unclean" food.
People who eat pork usually develope some fatal disease. I prefer to live healthy until I die. The "grace" people won't eat a rat or a cockroach with "thanksgiving" because they know these creatures were not created for human food. Yet, they love pork so much that they will twist the scriptures to accomdate their appetite.

Pork Is forbidden according to levitical law. It Is a scavenger. Why would you eat something God Himself cursed. Jesus cast out demons In the demoniac of Gadera and sent them Into the Swine, that later jumped off the cliff and met their death. They do not sweat, therefore they are full of toxins & parasites.I don't care how much you cook it,you're open to eating dead parasites and their eggs ? As far as fish Is concerned only eat those that have Fins & Scales. all others are God's way of fitering the ocean. A Lobster Is the oceans version of a cockroach. People pay $20 a pound for this. It would be no different than eating the filter from your aquarium. You can eat anything you like, you'll just get to heaven a whole lot faster. The meats that are sanctified Are those that were mentioned In the book of Leviticus. Look up sanctified In the Strong's. It referrs to meats that were killed and prepared according to Levitical Law,Kosher. God didn't change His mind on this.In Him there Is no shadow of turning. He made us and therefore He knows what will feed the bodies He created. Just like the creator/designer of your car.

Haven't read your Bible have you? "Get up Peter kill and eat"--acts chapt. 11.
The Jews and the muslims believe pork is "unclean". Where did you get your info that pork and human taste alike? Have you ever been cannibalistic? Anatomically we are very different than swine (read any college biology book or A&P book). Your statements seem to be flights of fancy.

Pigs aren't closely related to humans. Both pigs and humans are omnivores (eat both meat and plants), so it's not surprising that they taste similar.
I think the reason pigs, dogs and crustaceans are "unclean" is because they all scavenge for food, and will eat something that has been dead for awhile. Ancient people didn't know about microbes, but they did know that dead things spread disease.

Dear Beatnick,
The Jews were not to consume pork. However, after the resurrection of Christ the Lord tell us, "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." (1 Tinothy 4:4, 5).
However, one should be aware of the fat content of some meats (pork + beef), especially if heart disease is in one's family.
Remember, the body is the temple of God--if you are saved.

i eat pork, i love pork. i dont eat it to the extent of worrying bout high cholesterol.
the old testament said to not eat, but the new testament says this:
Romans 14:1-3 (New International Version)
1) Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters.
2) One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.
3) The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.
Romans 14:14 (New International Version)
As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food[a] is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.
Romans 14:17 (New International Version)
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
just read this chapter.
