Love is eternal and can transcend mortality. It just makes sense. Love is an intense emotion and God would not allow us to experience such intensity then pull it our from us when we die. Love and relationships last through the eternities.

it is eternal b/c even after I die and go whereever it is I will go I will still love the people I love now. Death is now powerful enough to stop love. God's love transcends life and death and time
