Just fess up and tell the truth. Accidents happen and if she gets mad she gets mad, but I recommend not hiding it and just getting it over with. Tell her what happened and apologize profusely, and how terrible you feel. You can't control her reaction but even it it's bad you will feel so much better not having to hide it. I don't know if you are in a position to buy a new one or make payments but if you are offer. You might want to check with a local computer store that sells used equipment, maybe they have just a screen you can get or find you one. And I don't mean Best Buy or stores like that, I mean the little computer repair shops or stores that sell used equipment.

First off be honest and up front and tell her what happened. Don't lie about it because this will only upset her more. Offer to pay for a new one....if you don't have the money to buy one take on extra chores around the house and pay for it that way she will see that you are acting in a responsible manner...second when she does get another one don't use it...

You have to replace the camera .
you dont say how old you are , or what your finances are like but you acknowledge that its your fault , so the only right thing to do is to be honest and do whatever you can to replace the camera .
Offer to work it off if your finances dont allow for the money upfront , sell whatever you can , but make an effort , at least !

The best and probably only option you have (unless you can go back in time) is to tell her the truth, BUT buy her a new camera so that she doesn't totally freak out.

Tell the police your house was robbed. You'll have to endure a minor investigation. Hide some other items so the camera isn't the only thing missing. Your insurance company should replace the camera... Good luck.

You may get in trouble but why put it off. the sooner you tell her the sooner it will be resolved and you wont have to worry anymore. I no it's scary but it'll b for the better if you dont hide

well this is pretty much a situation where the truth is indeed the best way to go.If you hide it shell feel just plain sad and will vent it out(unintentionally) on you.

Buy her another one that is the same model or close to it. I bet she would never know the difference.
