I'm trying to loose weight, so for breakfast I have a orange, grapefruit & pineapple juice, and two whole grain waffles. Is this too much for breakfast. Should i just drink the juice only?

Ok, don't just drink juice. I know you wan't to lose weight, but that could just make you sick. If an orange, a grapefruit, two whole grain waffles, and pineapple juice fill you up, than that is what you should do, exept for the sake of losing weight, maybe you should try whole grain low-fat waffles. That would be an extremely healthy breakfast that would give you enough energy for the day. If you do that, maybe for lunch you can just eat a sandwich and some juice or water, and then have a big dinner with some juice or water. But just be sure that if you want to lose weight, try to avoid any kind of soda, like maybe one a week just for flavor! If you keep on this healthy diet for a couple of weeks, than don't be afraid to have some chocolate or heavy dessert! ( it will be your " award " for keeping a healthy diet!! ) Hope this helps, and i hope you are happy with your body!!

It sounds fine but drop the juice entirely and eat another piece of fruit instead. Juice is just the sugar and the water left over after the best parts have been taken out. The waffles will be high in calories, fat, sugars ect. so watch your labels. Egg whites would be a much better choice and won't gobble up as much of your 1200 calories a day. That combined with your 30 minutes of sweat everyday will have you shedding that crisco in no time...good luck!

Grapefruit juice is one of the best juices you can drink while dieting, on the other hand, one 8oz glass of o.j.= about 6 whole oranges, so make sure you are getting the right portions of sugar to protein, fiber and carbs. You could skip the Waffles and opt. for low- fat oatmeal, and make yourself a smoothie using lowfat or fat free yogurt.

Actually, if you want to lose weight you should eat as much food as you can handle at breakfast. First, it jump starts your metabolism, second you have all day to burn the cals off and third, you'll wind up eating less for dinner (which you'll sleep on anyway) and cut out snacking between meals.
Eat like a king for breakfast, like a prince for lunch and like a pauper for dinner.

I don't really see whats wrong with it... Seems healthy and the orange counts as one of your 5 a day :)

Hope you do well

My favorite breakfast when I was dieting is a packet of instant oatmeal, a piece of fruit, and a glass of Carnation instant breakfast/milk. It's all very low-fat and provides lots of protein, fiber, and vitamins. Not to mention, it's very filling.

It sounds just right, but next time, have one waffle instead of two.
