I have had it for a week now, and it is starting to REALLY hurt. It is a small white canker sore on the inside bottom part of my lip. I would welcome any ideas to cure it quickly. Thanks!

put salt on it..its going to hurt but it after the salt burns it you wont feel it anymore..promise!! maybe like 1 minute of pain

Keep your mouth very clean. Use an antiseptic mouthwash like Listerine. Every time you eat or drink brush your teeth or use mouthwash. The canker sore should start to heal up in a couple of days.

I have heard eating yogurt helps prevent the sores,But whenever I get them I always rinse my mouth with peroxide right from the bottle.I did ask my dentist who said he's never done it but, it shouldn't hurt your teeth either.Mine usually clear up quickly when I do this Also ambesol for tooth pain helps until it clears up.

It's a home remedy, but it has always worked for me: eat a carrot. Just go to the store and get one of those bags of peeled baby crrot sticks, and eat some, with or without dip. The sore should clear up by tomorrow. I think it has something to do with the large concentration of Vitamin A in carrots, but who knows?

Take a glass of water and add one teaspoon of salt to it. Gargle with it a few times a day (Don't swallow it!) and it should help it though it does taste bad.

they also sell stuff in the stores called "kanka" and its supposed to help...
