What the f--k is that supposed to mean? Too deep? How can you go too deep?

It's almost as though I have to apologize to people for thinking about something other than cars or sex or sports. Don't get me wrong. There are plenty of times when I do think about sex or sports (I never think about cars. They don't interest me beyond getting me where I need to be.) but that's not all I think about.

How can a person not want to think about life, the universe, where we come from, where we are going, and how it all happened? I actually enjoy thinking about these things. It intrigues me. It fascinates me. It enthralls me.

Why don't more people feel the way I do?

I think that is what makes us such an interesting species. We are all so different. I totally agree with how you look at life. I am always asking questions and getting people to think about things that never occurred to them before. I take much satisfaction in that and it would be quite boring if we all did the same. We can't all be thinkers. lol

I think some people are fine with being mediocre. They live their lives as if it is already over and are just going through the motions. Sometimes it takes a person like us to jolt them awake.

But they do. We are out here.

Some people are rooted in the earth, and are entirely happy with rote and routine. Others have and want to stretch an active imagination.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of people in my circle that I can bounce a thought, or idea, off of who will actually sit, think and point out the flaws in my theory. Perhaps that is why I come to answers.

There are times when I'm not that interested in a particular topic that I use that phrase. Also, when the subject hits areas beyond 100% pure speculation, often it seems rather worthless to continue the discussion.

The never-ending need for answers is indeed intriguing. I share your passion also for thinking upon the "too deep."

When the mind is not attuned to the subject matter it is too difficult to understand without more effort than such persons wish to exert.

I agree with you that thinking about life is worthwhile.
