The liberal left will tell you that it is not the fault of the children that their parents were here illegally and, although that may true, it is not justification for awarding citizenship. This is an end around on the amnesty thing. You find a palatable way to give the "innocent children" citizenship and then they sponsor their parents as immediate family members of a citizen.

The "Dream Act" stipulates that the child had to enter prior to their 15th birthday, been in the US for over five years and either graduated from high school or attained a GED in the US.

My question is how they got into our public education system to get a high school diploma. When I enrolled my kids in school I had to have a birth certificate, a SSAN card, shot records, prior school report card and a current utility bill. I guess its only wrong to ask for proof of citizenship if the person is a non-citizen ... ya, confuses me too ... if you don't ask, how do you know they are a non-citizen and if you ask a non-citizen its against the law ... Huh?

Signing petitions and writing my so-called "Senators". I have contacted my Senators sternly and often however they both owe their souls to special organizations and lobbysts and to add insult to injury, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, in addition to ignoring their constituents repeatedly in their votes, are also probably the most incompetent thinkers in Congress.

some in congress are bound and determined to give amnesty even though they were defeated once and now want to piece meal it to us and ram it down our throats.

over the weekend, Durbin and other open borders
Senators have worked overtime to rally the needed 60 votes to pass this massive amnesty plan.

you need to call your Senators and let them know that you
oppose the Dream Act (SA 2919), and that you cannot support anyone who would support an amnesty bill.

Ask your Senators to publicly state their position and
intention with the "Dream Act" and make them take a stand again. this way we know who to re-elect and who not to when it is time.

don't delay in calling as it could come to vote anytime this week.

Yes I have contacted my senators that I disagree with it. But it wont do much good as Durbin is one of my senators and he sponsored this so-called Dream act.

You might want to read the below link. More needs to be done than just the few of us calling our Representatives in Washington. If you have friends in other States or Districts within your currant State you need to to impress on then the need to do what we are doing.

Have any, posting here, found web site's, blog's or support chat groups voicing our concerns, then post them hear so we can unite.

I would tell my senators to vote no, but one is the well named Dick Durbin, and the other is a naieve(sp) idiot who is too busy campaigning to show up for votes.

I loathe my senators.
My Representative, Peter Roskam, at least, has been contacted with my wishes.

I'm pretty sure Senator Warner's office groans each time they see my CID light up on their phones. We'll have him vote down this Nightmare Act or we'll have his seat next election.

Absolutely. I let them know.
Everyone must do this so as to make our government actually _representative_.
If the elected ones do not follow their constituent's wishes and publish those wishes (so that we can check up on them), then they need to be replaced.
