It started with me moving to London as I had a new job (which I'm not planning to do), I was walking to work when I saw a big black bear sleeping next to a flower bed so I stopped to take a photo, while I was doing that an ex of mine from years ago who I don't speak to or even see around anymore came over and asked what I was doing. We started chatting and were getting on really well so I asked him why he dumped me when we were going out. He said it was because I cheated on him and he knew that I had also cheated on every guy I'd gone out with since him (which isn't true) but I admitted it to him anyway. He said that it was fine but we had to start running as we were both going to be late for work, so we were running through the streets of london through all the people going to work, which is when I woke up.
Does anyone know what any of this means?
thanks!

It wasn't even a really serious relationship I had with that guy, and it was about 8 years ago.
I've been with my current boyfriend for over six years so I have moved on!

my guess is that your feeling guilty or unfulfilled with something in that and/or all of your previous relationships, but dont read to deeply into it it is afterall just a dream a basic cleaning of the synapses. it could have just been you watched bridget jones and saw a comercial for smokey the bear

Maybe you fear the absence of motion, a feeling of wanting to become more committed to your BF maybe but are being blocked somehow (Walking if you wanted to be driving , distraction by the bear, trying to run somewhere important through crowds of people who are just as intent on their destinations as you are.) Unresolved feelings/fears from the past- the old boyfriend : feeling badly because of the breakups or severed relationships in your life, as if they were all your fault- or you feared other people thought they were.
There is an exercise you can try, which is best done with a trusted Friend (not your BF since the dream in a way involves him). Talk to your dream! Ask the different parts of it what they are trying to tell you, and have your friend guide you through your questions about the feelings that come up (just don't get too heavy- it's not therapy>) It is amazing how you can clarify your feelings that way sometimes.

Black bear represents turmoil, hurt, and trouble. Black bear on the flower bed represents a part of your life which is a peace and not to be disturbed. Actually it represents your past relationship with your boyfriend. I don't know why you had the dream about him, but let sleeping bears sleep.

It seems that, in order for you to do something new, you have to 'let go' of something from the past. Your guilty conscience stopped you from moving on. I guess the Bear could represent your 'mental block'. After your admission, you were free to continue on your way. New horizons for you.

Someone from the past that you were very close to, betrayed you. They did you a favour although you realise that now you are unable to let them make ammends. Your subconscious mind is telling to forget the past, let sleeping dogs lie.

You must have never had an explanation on why you were dumped. So, this helped resolve it, and you both ran in separate directions
