I work in an ER but now applyng to the library. I am a soc major and want to bracnh out and work iiin education too. Frankly, I am beginning to hate my job in the ER ,just the co-workers really, not the job but I do not want to speack bad of the hospital on an application. This job pays 19 hrly and as a single parent I need this job so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you put it the right way ; you want to branch out in another career direction where your interests are

You don't put anything as a reason for leaving your current job - you're still there, you haven't left yet. If there's a space on the application for reason for leaving, just leave it blank. If you are talking about your resume, leave off any reason for your current job.

If you get an interview, they'll probably ask. Have an answer ready, and don't mention hating your co-workers.

I would put just what you wrote here, that you want to change the field of work your in and branch out. try that
