I was thinking that it would make a great story. I'd even settle for a made for television one. Especially when he was doing missionary work for the JW's, his life was in danger because they were at war in the D.R.

I pray continuously they'd make a film about the REAL Charles Taze Russell -- you know, the one who married a rich woman for her money, refused to have sex with her, and flirted endlessly with other women. It doesn't surprise me that such an apostate founded his own religion.

I see Billy Bob Thornton casted as C. T. Russell.

EDIT: DwayneWayne, that would be Joel Osteen, right? He makes me physically ill.

No, not at all! Ray Franz is a "has been" and has squeezed all of the attention out of his "created" problems he possibly could. Remember, he had a choice, he could have spoken out if what he said was going on was true! Naw, instead Ray enjoyed the travel, attention, being cared for, authority , power and when it was revealed that he lacked humility....now he becomes the victim! Give me a break, a movie about "Ray Franz". By the way, there are far better examples of modern day servants with a longer track record to be proud of, not a bitter, self centered individual who failed to let discipline yield peaceable fruit!

Do you think God almighty would dedicated a whole book of the bible to talk about Satan?

he was in my country D.R. I know all the details we wasn´t in war , we had a Dictator Trujillo that hated JWs just for not being involve in politics and several were in jail and some were killed, something that the majority of church didn´t suffer. but people never mention that also what he said just prior his death that he was repented of what he did....

SUZANNE did you enjoyed "God´s friend"? in the past February.

interesting nina you Question in the Joke Section....

Neverhead of Raymond Franz so I have not really hoped for such a movie to be made.

Would that satisfy you?

First they should make an individual movie for every pastor who's ever gotten rich off God (I won't call any names but I live in Houston and there's a REALLY big church that used to be a basketball stadium that's headed by a young man who's father got him in the business).

Come on Baby, there are more productive things 2 do than try 2 tear us down.

since i knew him back in the 60-70's, i dont think he would like it.

he did some GOOD things and some BAD things.

sadly, the BAD are the ones that overshadow his life.

i just hope he will not stay df'd and will return to jehova
before it is too late.

there was a movie about judas iscariot, one about benedict arnold, and bunches about satan.

i dont think once more around the park is that good an idea.

No. Do you have a Bible question to ask or are you going to continue JW bashing?

Just in case anyone wanted to know, our good friend Nina visited the joke section and posted a filthy joke. Still want to help us now, Nina?
