As long as they don't try to enslave the rest of us, they can do as they please.
I take some issue with the fact that they may be compelling their children to be born into bondage; but unless we're going to start regulating reproductive rights, the best we can do is to combat that slave mentality through education in our compulsory public school system.

I have never encountered a person who appreciated being told they were in error particularly in a belief system such as religion or politics or science.
Being a slave requires direction. In religions, the direction is largely a bit more localized than it is from God.
Just because the nature of the Creator is not known does not prove nonexistence. If you exist, and the world exists, there has to have been a moment of creation, either of the physical world or of time. To deny that and to say "well, it just always was" is no more logical.

Since atheists spend much of their time trying to convince us that God is imaginary, what makes you think that you can do any better? I would rather believe in God and be in error than not believe and be wrong. Belief in God keeps me sane and happy in this bad, mad, sad old world. It brings me the love of like minded people who I love in return. It helps me try and be a kinder, more caring person. Why would I swop that for nothing, to be swept up in the pre occupation with self, self ,self; with no hope to look forward too. No thanks, you can keep your self delusion that God does not exist.

We are not slaves because slaves don't have the freedom to choose to obey, even after being saved we still have that freedom, though why would anyone choose not to obey someone who has your best interests at heart. I have found that even I don't always act in my best interest.

Everyone is a slave to something. I'd rather be a slave to my "imaginary" God as you call him, than what you are a slave to "Satan." In my OPINION my master is much better! By the way people who don't know God think they are enlightening us Christians w/their opinions. Not! You are wasting your time and breath.

Part of the Atheist philosophy is the belief that we can do what ever we choose and only natural consequences of ones actions is what truly governs them. For example your free to punch someone if you wish but the natural consequence may be that he will punch you back. So pretty much atheist decisions are based off of whats smart and whats dumb rather then whats right or wrong. Usually the unethical choices are the dumb choices anyways and that usually settles most of the issues of being ethical as an atheist eg. you can rob a bank since its "wrong" in the Christians eyes but the consequence makes the action stupid in the atheist perspective because it will get your *ss in jail. So Christians are free to be religious as they wish, only nature will decide its consequence. So pretty much atheist ethics is based on whats smart and whats dumb rather then whats good or bad resulting in a "karma of common sense". This plays a role in the natural selection of human beings as people making dumb choices die consequentially for their stupidity as people making smart choices survive and reproduce. Usually the "righteous decisions" in a Christians eye is the "smart" decision from the atheist view point because unethical choices result in getting in trouble with civilized society. Therefore the issue of ethics settle themselves. Only nature will decide the fate of the people who choose religion. The question being weather their belief in god will strengthen their perseverance in the struggle for survival or, weather their blind faith in superstition will lead them like lemmings to their demise. It all comes down to the basic principle of natural selection. So only nature will choose whose worthy.

yes they should be told the errors of not believing......and by the way....
There are no real atheists in R&S real atheists DO NOT spend time in any sites with the words religion OR spirituality in them !!! the so called "atheists" (yea right) you see here are really using this site to learn more about God without going to church !! they DO believe in him but they are just not ready yet to admit it publicly so they come here. NO real atheist would EVER be caught in R & S. I used to be atheist but NEVER came here until I got saved then I saw all the liars in here claiming to be "atheist".

I think there is never harm in education. Although if their religion keeps them from committing crime and ruining their lives, then there is great value in it.
I would like to see some of them understand that there are others who don't require myths and threats to live good moral lives, but thats something that doesn't look like it is going to happen any time soon.
Tell them of the error, if they choose not to accept it then fine, until they try to force my kids into being brainwashed, then all bets are off.

I'm free to worship whoever I want. I want to worship Jesus Christ. I feel compelled to tell you to f*ck off right now, but that wouldn't be the Christian thing to do, so why don't you go flush your punk-*ss down the toilet >

They should have the freedom to be slaves, but others should have the freedom to offer them a way out of their shackles.
