Great point.

Because there is nooooo way I'm gonna miss a Panthers game to sit in an uncomfortable pew and listen to fairy tales on Football Sunday.

If God really wanted us to go to church on Sunday, why would he intelligently design the NFL?

once again we blame God for man's own creation. and ones own lust.

besides most church services are done by the time the games are on and then there is the great invention of "tivo".

finally if you think attempting to be pious on Sunday but living like Hell the rest of the week is Christian then your so deceived. Being a Christian is a total commitment of heart mind and soul. it is a 24-7-365 thing. it is who your are. why would Christians be any less committed than Heathens are to their faiths?

I attend chruch services that end at 11:30am, with more than enough time for 1pm kickoff. So, he made these two important events on the same day, but you still have time to get both done. Really, he should have NFL on Saturday so you can ask for forgiveness for all the bad things you say to the TV while football is on!

Well, I'd say that the real reason is because he wanted us to learn about I formations and Cover 2 defenses at church, but those damned tithe collectors won't take the hint until Jesus himself suits up for the Saints.
