What are some of your opinions on this subject. Should we allow the illegals here to stay or should we possibly cap the amount of people coming legally.

What is your opinion on what this does to our country/government?

NO DAMN AMNESTY FOR ANY DAMN ILLEGAL, PERIOD! ARREST AND DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS, NOW! JAIL AND FINE ALL EMPLOYERS WHO HIRE ILLEGALS!

It's all about cheap labor for the greedy employers!

I do not agree with the illegals coming into our country and taking our jobs away, getting free heath care, food stamps, well fare, a place to live, when we as an American need help, and or told on a minimum wage job or a little higher and can not get health care for it is not offer and they do not qualify for it. They make to much for food stamps. So they lose everything they have. What I think is they should make use of empty buildings and if they want to become legal. They should open these buildings as a place for them to stay and work at it to keep it up and learn to speak our language here in America, just like Ellis Island, then teach them the laws of the American way. Let them work and pay taxes while working, and when they have been here a year let them also take the test to become an American citizen as our families before us did...

The illegals need to be deported. They show NO respect for our country or its people.

I have a feeling that if any kind of amnesty is granted to the illegal criminal aliens here now, that the cap of those wanting to enter the country legally will be lowered. It is just not a fair situation to those that truly want to be citizens and follow our country's rules.

They have to go. All of them. They also need to be punished for the CRIME that they have commited. Anyone hiring them should be fined huge amounts of money to pay for rounding them up and deporting them, and all services (education, medical, food, everything) needs to be cut off.
Anyone caught illegally in this country should be barred for life from re-entering, children of those here illegally should not be citizens (just like the children of those that steal during war should not be allowed to keep stolen property).
Those that get up and protest that these people should be allowed to stay, I’d like to point out that if you love that culture so much, its just south of the U.S. Go live in it if those people and their culture is so great.
Immigration should stay in place, it’s what makes this country great. Just as long as rules are followed and enforced, it’s a great plan.

Toss the illegals back, and cap the rate of immigration. The effect would be positive for the country, and for the government since the people would tend to see their safety improved. Bad for Mexicans, but great for Americans.

illegals are illegals, simple word,it is illegal to rob a store. when you are caught you bust pay the price. when you are living or working here you know what you are doing, your wrong and you know it.we spend billions of dollars on illegals each year far more spen than we can ever hope to collect on any tax's or fines in posed on them. its a know win for any country. come here legal. don't hide behind your race, color or any reason. your still a illegal and that is still a crime in this country. go by the laws or don't come.

Deport, build the fence, fine and inprison the employers. Return to immigration law prior to 1965; it is obvious that the wrong countries are being given the privilege of coming to this country.

Increased taxes, crime, disease, unemployment and anarchy. We are rapidly becoming a third world country.

Opinions don't matter because they are already here and increasing in numbers by the day. I don't think its a problem. if they go away, the US is not going to overflow with wealth, the crime is not going to dissappear, and racists will just find something else to complain about! This country was founded on immigrants and they will continue and thats the way it will always be. If you have a job, roof over your head, food on the table, clothes on your back, and kids in college. Then why do you care! What is it hurting you? Did anybody get fired so that they could be replaced with an illegal? Did your kid get kicked out of college so that an illegal could get in? Were you evicted from your home because of an illegal? I could go on, but whats the point? Like I said they are here, so you might as well get used to it. Thanks.

If I break the law they'll put me in jail. So why should illegals be allowed to break the law? Take everything they have acquired illegally and deport them.
