well sometimes it depends on the environment also, for people from the north pole cannot be vegetarian, same for the people living in deserts region. but where there is plenty of fruits, vegetables and trees like the fertile regions in most countries, people should be more towards veg than non- veg.

That is correct....

We were vegetarian in the Garden...we were permitted to eat a "small" amount of CLEAN animal after the flood because the environment had changed so much....

We will be vegetarian in Heaven...there is no death in heaven...

the dietary laws still apply today even more so than 2000 years ago...do not eat that which is unclean...

today people are eating pig, clam, crab, shrimp, lobster, and other animals that are the clean up crew for the environment...

The method of industrial live stock has made the beef and dairy industry unclean also....

too many health problems can be linked to the consumption of all these many unhealthy and unclean meats...

then the over processed, glow in the dark chemicals and preservatives, hormones, food dyes, sugared, etc...

**I spent 11 years working in nursing homes and seeing the end result of the great American diet on people in their 30's to 50's** I also worked in a 7th day Adventist Assisted Living Home for 1 year,(300 residents) everyone was in their 80's and 90's and did not really need my help..These 7th Day Adventists were life long vegetarians...

From those two very same but different work environments I learned more than any text book could give....

Today we are 7th day and vegetarian....the truth is the truth....

I am shocked at people who complain of their aches and poor health, and can't lose weight while they are chomping on a big mac, Fry's, and a double milk shack....

And I hear this ''whine of I don't like vegetables, I gotta have my steak and pork chops, the double stuff pizza,etc..." while they are pushing an O2 tank and their feet have diabetic ulcers.....

Jesus was our example....he and the disciples ate the kosher foods /meals that were normal of that day....

We need to change things from WWJD to WWJE....what would Jesus eat....

I don't think the new testament bible teaches us to be vegetarians, but the old testament taught not to eat pork or fish without scales and the non hoofed animals were not to be eaten. Jesus ate fish, I as a vegetarian don't eat meat, fish or poultry.

Jesus said eat whatever you want, and the Bible says the strong believer eats meat and isn't afraid of those who push vegetarian foolishness. In fact the Bible says in the last days, some men will believe doctrines of demons, forbidding to marry and causing people to abstain from certain foods. Sounds like the catholics. Catholics are not saved Christians.

Jesus was not concerned with what was eaten less known what a person wears. He was concern about a persons thoughts. He spoke to change the way we think and change our minds about what we thought we knew about God.
