My sons had bbumbs around is butt area, i also thought it was bugs, so i had the hosue sprayed and all that good stuff..it was still there, so i did a google and saw that it might be a skin infection. I took him to the doctor, and he confirmed it was a skin infection. Gave him some medication and now they cleared.
Now this infection jlooked IDENTICAL to a bite..but wasnt..
so take them to the DOC ASAP...
can also get this infection from Daycare...School and is also contagious.
Good luck

sounds like either fleas or bed bugs. Flea bites always start on the ankles or lower legs cuz that's how high they jump. then they work their way up. Do you have pets indoors? if so, get them treated, then treat your home for fleas, including carpets, bedding etc. Just to be safe, have your child checked by a doc to make sure of what it is.

It could be caused by an allergy to dust mites.
This could also be the result of a food allergy or food intolerance. Dairy is notorious for causing skin problems. The most common ones are:
* Milk
* Eggs
* Peanuts
* Tree nuts (such as almonds, cashews, walnuts)
* Fish (such as bass, cod, flounder)
* Shellfish (such as crab, lobster, shrimp)
* Soy
* Wheat

No Joke, but, have you ever thought about bed bugs? I had this problem at my sister's house in AZ.
Bed bugs are increasingly becoming a problem within residences of all kinds, including homes, apartments, hotels, cruise ships, dormitories and shelters. Please go to this website to find out mroe about them. No, they are not dustmites. They are ugly little bugs that we thought had nearly gone extinct, but they are back with a vengance.

Could be bedbugs. People react to them in different ways. Pull up his mattress and look around the corners and such. You'll see dead ones.
Also, check for fleas or lice. Good luck! :)

It could be poison ivy, he could be allergic to fabric. if he wears mostly synthetic fabric, that could be it, or vice versa if he wears just cotton. go to a dermatologist and ask for an Allergy Scratch test.
