Would you say some kind of apology, or act as if nothing happened, . . . or something else?

Apologizing (although embarrassing) is much better that ignoring the whole act as if nothing happened.

It all depends, how well do you know the person? You can either apologize profusely and walk away hoping they forget. Or you can play it off like a joke. "You know me, always trying to touch what i can't have" or "Was it as good for you as it was for me?" You could act like nothing happened, but you better hurry away fast, cause trust me, private areas are sensitive areas and they notice everything!

excuse me, I'm sorry, then I'd continue on with whatever I was doing at the time. as if nothing happened. bringing any more attention to itthen that, will just make it more imbarrasing for both of you.

"Oh, excuse me!" Anything more just draws more attention to it. Acting like nothing happened makes people think you are trying to cop a feel :-)

an ex-classmate did just that!

he came towards me touching my breasts and I thought he wouldnt dare so I didnt cover it.

AND he claimed that he thought i would dodge so he just went ahead.

It happened in a flash plus he was very quick to explain - so we just laughed it off.

I would say, "Excuse me" and get on with my life. It's not a federal crime.
