It's done fairly well.. Aside from the drivers that continue to bash the car.. They are holding up well, giving us great racing, and at times equal the playing field. It still has a few kinks needin' to be worked out but by mid-next season hopefully it'll all be sorted out.

Oh I think everyone will agree that there are still some bugs to be worked out. For the drivers to constantly complain that they are tight or they are loose with no middle ground would seem to indicate that some modifications are needed. Why are the pit crews not able to tweak the cars just enough to free them up or tighten them up without it totally tanking the car to the other extreme? Likewise, there seems to be issues with why they are unable to pass very much with these cars. The positive is that we are not seeing driver injuries from these wrecks so the cars seem to be significantly safer. I got a tad nervous when John Andretti didn't hop out of his car right away yesterday but when he did he seemed OK. I think the Car of Tomorrow is definitely the Car of Today but I also feel it's likely a big Work In Progress.

Well Hendrick Motorsports has the most wins. Joe Gibbs has been dominating the start of some races, but sometimes struggle at the end and Roush Fenway Racing has been sneaky to get a couple of wins while Michael Waltrip, Red Bull, and Bill Davis team fight to stay above the top 35, so overall, still got some bugs to work out.

There are still bugs in the C O T that have to be worked out.
Is the dropping of the rear fenders a by line of the C O T?
The problems are being worked out and are going to be worked out each race.

Having been to three races with the COT, I'd say it's come along pretty well. I was the first race in Bristol this spring and then yesterday in Dover. I like the COT. Whatever bugs are left are minor. I think the true and final test will be Talledaga.

Even though I am not a NASCAR fan, I really like the Car of Tomorrow. I think in the long run, the racing and the safety of everyone will be better for this car. As for the arguments that it doesn't turn, the drivers don't like it, et al; here's my response. If you don't like it, QUIT! There are literally tens of thousands of drivers on short tracks in the U.S. and Canada who would drive a school bus if that is what NASCAR mandated. In short, I do like the COT and it may turn out to be the best thing to happen to NASCAR in many, many years.

It's still a work in progress and probably always will be. The current car was always being tweaked, but the COT will run full time next year and I'm happy because for the most part they've been exciting races.

From listening to some of the drivers, the main drawback to the COT is that the teams can't tweek it as with the old car. If that is the case why would teams go to the trouble of spending money just to compete with the team next door who will run in the top 10 without spending all the money.

Not too many bugs to be worked out, except maybe for overheating. The COT has a totally different balance to it, no, its NEVER going to handle like the car of yesteryear, so teams will have to learn to cope, push in the center of the corner,YEAH-you will have to change your line and adjust the speed of the car DUH!!
We ***** about anything. YES the cot is a success. YOU GOT NO CHOICE--IT'S NASCAR

It still needs some work but I think it will make for a lot of exciting finishes later on. I still think it is a very ugly car.
