Last time I heard anything about this, it was called a hoax.

Sounds like fundamentalist scare-tactics to me. I dunno anybody who would allow the government to put a microchip under his skin.

I believe the chip is the mark of the beast. In the bible it says that in the last days people will be asked to bear the mark of the beast on their hand or forehead. If you take this mark you will not be saved. I will not take the mark (chip) no matter what.

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (The Beast is the Anti-Christ)

There a lot of Lobbying to get this. Big money to be made. It has Pros and Cons. It would be good to find lost or abducted children/adults. If, a person was murdered it may help identify who was around them at the time. It could find people lost in the Forest. So, there could be more good to outweigh the bad.
The bad would be loss of privacy, extortion and identity theft.
Remember; you may not be able to buy or sell anything without it. :-p

I believe this would be the precursor to the mark of the beast spoken of in Revelation. It won't be the same yet, for we have to be conditioned to receive it in the name of convenience so that when the time comes for the Antichrist to step onto the scene and take over the technology, it will be simple to reprogram the chips with the 666 "mark" that will be used to track everyone's actions with.

These chips have been around for many years. I have one in both my dogs, you pay a subscription every month, and if either one goes missing they can be tracked with GPS. It is obviously no different to put one in your child, or anyone else for that matter. Frankly with the amount of perverts around, if I had a young kid, I would certainly think about installing one in them.

Why do idiots think that there is some great conspiracy? Open your eyes and read a newspaper occasionally you may learn something.

I agree with Kaliko; this sounds like the mark of the beast. I don't believe it will ever be compulsory, but even if it was, I would not allow myself or my children to have it put in, and they would have to execute me before they'd get it implanted.

Sounds like the precursor of the mark of the beast. I would never take one. I don't want to be seen as a "walking bank account" to the elite that want to track what everyone says, does, and buys.

I think it's fodder for the more paranoid conspiracy theorists among us. It's not practicable, and not likely to happen. But keep watching for those black helicopters.

As long as it's voluntary, I have no problem with it.
