Here is a little bit of information about our personal situation so that you can hopefully help me generate some ideas:
My fiance and I have known eachother since we were born (literally) and have been dating for 6 years.
We had to overcome a lot of obstacles to be together once and for all and we're so happy that our wedding day is finally near.
Any suggestions of a song that conveys that message; that we were "meant to be", that it was always him for me and vice versa and that we're extremely hapy to finally be together forever?
Thank you so much for the suggestions, I greatly appreciate it!

Sweetpea - I think it's called, "You're Still the One".
I know that song very well.
Thank you for suggesting it.

fire and ice - i know how to search for wedding songs. that is why i asked that everyone read the details of my question, to see if, when people knew some things about mine and my finace's relationship, any songs came to mind.

Well I don't know if this totally fits your criteria but it's a beautiful, yet kind of obscure song, with fabulous words that is easy to slow-dance to. It's called "You're My Everything" by Nat King Cole.
You're my everything underneath the sun
You're my everything rolled up into one
You're my only dream, my only real reality
You're my idea of a perfect personality
You're my everything, everything I need
You're the song I sing and the book I read
You're a way beyond belief and just to make it brief
You're my winter, summer, spring, my everything
You're my everything, everything I need
You're the song I sing and the book I read
You're a way beyond belief and just to make it brief
You're my winter, summer, spring, my everything!
you can hear an excerpt of it here (just click on the song title):

My fiance and I have been dating since middle school and have been dating ever since. We have been through a lot of obstacles as well (cancer and many others). So, it sounds like our love stories are very similar.
My fiance and I are dancing to "Glasgow Love Theme" which is all instrumental. Everyone who has heard it so far says it's beautiful.
It is from the movie "Love Actually."
You can hear it in this video on youtube:

We thought this song feels like pure love with no lyrics or someone else's voice to get in the way.

An artist named Tyrone Wells has some great songs to choose from. We're thinking of using "Sea Breeze" for ours. His songs are really sweet and unique. Maybe try "By My Side," but like I said before, he's got a bunch to choose from. Good luck!

There's a song by Tom Jones. I've never heard a song so sweet and romantic. It talks about the song I wrote just yesterday and how looking at you while you sleep, about he doesn't have the words to say how much he cares...
I hope that's enough info to find the song. Listen to it. It melts me.

It's a beautiful song that I wanted as mine and my hubby's First Dance. We ended up not having a reception, but every time we hear this song, we dance to it =D
