It definately depends on how old he is and how old he initially said he was... and your standards for yourself. If it was only a few years and you really like him a lot, then I wouldn't be too mad, but I would definately ask him why and I would wonder if he is lying about anything else. But if he lied and there is a big difference, then I would not continue to date him, in my opinion that's just wrong... Hope this helps =)

It depends on how much he lied. If it was only like a 2 or 3 years difference, then just let it go. But if it was more, try to find out why he lied.

It's definitely not a good sign.
Did he do that to get you to trust him and sleep with him?
What else could he have lied about? His married status, children? work/??
How did you discover the truth? did he tell you? or was it by chance?
If he came clean, I'd possibly give him another chance if i really liked him.
If I had discovered by chance, then, I would think that he has a lot to hide and it would made me mad and very uncomfortable about him.
It's up to you.
Good luck whatever you decide.

If he's 32 and you're 17 and he said he was 18, then dump him.

If he's 40 and you're 25 then he just told a silly lie.

You guys are already having sex, so it's no big deal.

He probably lied about his age to have a better chance at sex. I wonder what else he'd be willing to lie about?

Starting off a relationship with a lie isn't kewl...what else might he be lying about? Why is he so insecure about his age?

It would definitely damage the relationship, if not end it...it would depend on my overall impression of him otherwise, as to whether such a lie might be forgiven or not...wouldn't go far to establish trust, would it?
