I hate meat & fish, and I think my health is starting to suffer. I'm having a hard time finding foods that have a lot of protein in them. The best I can find is cottage cheese with 13g per serving. Peanut butter only has 8g & is high in fat and eggs only have 6g and are high in cholesterol. What other foods have a high protein content and if it is from a non-meat source is it just as good for you?

Get whey protein drink mix...whey protein is excellent for you, providing branched chain amino acids which are left out by other proteins!! Whey protein will also be good for lean muscle and can lower cholesterol and blood pressure levels!! Try it!

Get rid of the yolk in the eggs and just eat the egg whites to eliminate the cholesterol.

Whey protein is amazing and will take care of your protein intake.

Nuts are high in protein as well.

meat protein is not the same as animal protein. Lentils come the closest to a complete protein though. or soy.
