Difficult to be sure.....my answers tend to depend on my mood, so on TV I'd try to be a lot more measured. I'm sure the same is true of most other folks on here, which makes it hard to say who'd come across best live and in the flesh.
Much as I like mr Dawkins, he can seem to be a little bit over zealous at times, which doesn't endear him to the people he's trying to convert!! So you need someone who's views aren't too agressively put.
It'd be quite scary too...representing so many people's views in such a public arena!! Why? Are you a TV producer!!?

I would nominate Deke and Eleventy. I think they could be a 'good cop, bad cop' sort of team with Deke being the brutally honest one and Eleventy being the one who views the debate from both sides.
Wait - how do you now the WSIDR is an atheist? I thought he had never revealed his religious beliefs...

There's a big difference between making written arguments and public speaking. I've seen some very bright people crumble in the spotlight.
So I'm cheating on this question and choosing Richard Dawkins to represent me.

If I had to pick any atheist to be in a debate from R&S, it would be either 8 Track or Dreamstuff_Entity. They both know their stuff.

I don't know of any other Satanists in R&S except maybe Grimjack? That option aside, I'd pick me. I rock at debates.

Can I simply represent myself? There aren't many atheists on this site that I wouldn't want representing me. I don't agree with many of them.
