We got a booster seat for him at about 18 months. With my eldest I used the high chair until he was about 20 months then I got him a little table and chair from Ikea.

Right around 1 year and I would have gone longer except she showed signs of trying to climb out of it so I went with a booster seat for the table instead and it's working well (shes 22 months now)

Well I didn't really want to, but due to a space issue in our apartment, I had to at 19 months. For some reason, Jaden sits well, eats better, and behaves more in his high chair than anywhere else.

About a year and a half old. He was climbing out of it and had learned how to open it. It was easier to use a booster chair at that point.

When he turned eighteen months. His highchair turns into a booster seat so we use that at home but in public he just sits in a regular chair.

Around 2 for the older kids, around one for the baby. He's a wild man and was able to climb out of it, even buckled! We moved him to a booster and he was fine.

My son is 27 months and we don't use it much now. He likes to sit at the table like a big boy and he manages very well.
