inform me on this iran war that's supposedly coming up. i heard of it few times, but i honestly thought it was a cruel joke (we've got enough war debts on our hands already) but then i saw a post about it here (in R&S, thus im posting this question here) so.. people, enlighten me on what's going on. seriously. i gotta start turning on that tv again..

We could manipulate any one of their politicians to set up a coup, why do you think Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is here.

Mmm, Iran is emboldened because they knew the powers that be are tied up in Iraq right now. So they're developing nuclear weapons. France has threatened to go to war with Iran -- go figure.

Iran recently threatened missile attacks against several US interests and bases in the middle east. I'm sure it's because the US is so busy with the Iraq fiasco, they know the US is stretched thin with the military.

The president of Iran at least seems quite intent on pissing the US off to the point of an attack. If they do not comply with demands to stop nuclear research, we will have to destroy them before their whack-job leader nukes us. Or we'll have him quietly assassinated and hope for better luck with the next whack-job.

Iran sez they have no intention of going to war with the US- but have warned that if Israel commits any more crimes against Islam- they're gonna level Israel.
I think we should just grab a big o'l 32oz. soda, a bucket of popcorn, and your favorite couch- and watch this one from the sidelines. We're spread too thin as it is.
