Say you have this friend (girl) and there's been some flirting now and again..then one day you kiss and make out but not full sex even though you (the man) wanted it of course (being a man)! Next day you feel awkward...usual! Well and here's the question for the men, if you don't contact her, does that mean that you see her as a 'one night stand'? Like you only wanted sex from her? Does it mean that you're not interested in her and that you were only 'friends' with her to get a little bit of action but didnt want her as a girlfriend? I mean surely you were attracted to her in the first place to get physical. All of this with no alcolhol by the way!! Would you be waiting for her to contact you /take the next step? Tell me what you think?

It could mean that (being a man) I jumped into a sexual situation way too quickly without thinking through the whole situation, then once that initial sexual tension has subsided I find I am not as enthralled with this person as I thought I was (which gives the impression that I just wanted her for sex, but that's actually not the case. In fact, it may very well be that I DO NOT want her for sex...but it's difficult to back-pedal from that position without really offending someone!) So in this scenario I am not particularly waiting for or wanting her to call me back; I'm instead trying to determine the best and least hurtful way to distance myself from this entire episode...there's no further step to take. I don't see her as a one night stand, but I do see this as a mistake. (Having made mistakes of this nature before in roughly this manner, this is why I avoid getting physically involved now until I'm really sure I like the person I'm looking at, because the south brain will make a man see things that aren't there, and overlook things that are.) On the other hand, you have to realize I'm only speaking generally and about my past experiences....it may have nothing to do with another guy's motivations.

Contact her ASAP otherwise she might get the idea that you only wanted sex. Keep being friendly and slowly she might come around.
